Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more susceptible of being sick or feeling negative emotions and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. 

 Karuna Reiki® is a much more gentle, subtle energy. It is considered a "higher vibrational form of Reiki."
I became a Reiki Master then advanced to taking Karuna Reiki® Master courses, which is more of a powerful healing modality. 

The common effect is feeling peace and having clarity. Just try to relax as much as possible and take mental notes of things experienced.   Sometimes different colors or objects are seen in a meditative state. Some may also experience warmth or heat. This is the energy flowing through the body. Some experience an emotional release. Please note that each session/client may experience different things.

  First, I discuss the intention with the client. The client is fully clothed and I use a "hands off" approach where I placed my hands in different positions a couple inches above the body.  The energy flows where it needs to go. During the session, I also clear, cleanse & balance the 7 main chakras. I also receive intuitive information/messages for the client in that time & space.  I create a peaceful ambience by adding meditation music, crystals, and incense.
